The setting is brilliant, adjacent to great restaurants, the beach, and ipanema for 2 weeks, beautiful area. The staff is very very nice, as well as host. I would definitely book again, it was a REALLY GREAT experience.

the hotel, Ipanema, was clean, comfortable, and budget-friendly. It didn't have a swimming pool or offer breakfast or dinner, but the bed was great and the owners went out of their way to make me feel welcome. the hotel was close to the beach and there was a cafeteria with free internet access. I can't say enough about how helpful and kind the staff were.

We stayed at Ipanema Hotel for just a day before our early morning flight, and it was perfect! The location was superb, right in the heart of town and close to the beach. The young ladies who run the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful, making our short stay very pleasant. Our room had everything we needed, and the free air conditioning was a bonus. The hotel is great value for the price, with excellent amenities like free wifi. We also loved the charming family-run taverna called Nikos, just opposite the hotel, serving delicious home-style cuisine.

As party people, we loved the central location just five minutes from the beach, with nearby tavernas, bars. The owners were super polite and helpful, accommodating all our requests. The hotel was very clean, and the maid's artistic towel arrangements added a nice touch.

Felt like our own home, no complaints whatsoever.
